Star Drones Participates in Space Entrepreneurship Workshops
Recognizing the importance of promoting awareness about space technologies and their entrepreneurial potential, Star Drones actively participated in a specialized workshop dedicated to entrepreneurs interested in the space sector.
The workshop was organized in collaboration between the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT), the Omani National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science, and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
This initiative aimed to empower Omani entrepreneurs by introducing them to the opportunities and innovations in the growing global space industry. During the sessions, Star Drones shared insights into its experience with drone-based technologies and discussed how aerial systems can contribute to future space-related applications such as remote sensing, environmental monitoring, and smart data collection.
The company’s participation reflected its strong belief in the importance of developing local expertise in aerospace innovation and supporting Oman’s efforts to become a regional hub for space entrepreneurship and technology development.
“At Star Drones, we view space technology as an extension of our mission to innovate in aerial systems,” said a company representative. “Participating in these workshops allows us to connect with emerging entrepreneurs and contribute to building a sustainable ecosystem for space innovation in Oman.”
Through its participation, Star Drones reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the future of aerospace technology and inspiring the next generation of innovators in Oman and the wider Islamic world.
